A groundbreaking upgrade to Enroly’s Data Insights platform has gone live, giving users the ability to compare their data to the real-time sector averages in an innovation first for higher education.
When it launched in 2022, Enroly’s Data Insights platform offered Enroly Insights clients the ability to visualise and report on their CAS, visa, arrival, and service-level data as never before. This latest upgrade, which adds unprecedented access to real-time, aggregated industry data, allows Insights users to go much further, and benchmark their performance across all metrics against sector averages.
Users can now compare pricing and scholarship information, risk and compliance data, product-market fit data, team performance and service level data, and up to 500 data points in total, to real-time industry averages for the first time.
Jeff Williams, Enroly Co-Founder and CEO, says, ‘This upgrade to Data Insights is the culmination of years of development from Enroly’s Data Engineering, Technology and Product teams, and is a huge step forward in our clients reporting capabilities, as well as in Enroly’s ambition to become the most widely used, agnostic platform in international higher education.’
Less than a year since its launch, Data Insights is rapidly being adopted by Enroly’s extensive UK university partner list. The product is available as an extension to the company’s CAS Shield platform.

Reflecting on the recent upgrade, Heath Aster, Head of International Operations at the University of Chester, says, ‘I’ve been using the new features within Insights regularly. We knew when purchasing the platform last year that it was still in its infancy, but with University investment, the scope for development of real time reporting and comparisons is endless.
‘The most recent update has been the most useful, providing institutional comparisons across the sector on intake numbers, CAS processing performance, and UKVI visa timelines. These sector comparisons help us to identify areas for improvement and subsequently inform resource planning between intakes.’
Speaking of the platform in 2022, Sam Jackson-Royle, Director of International Operations and Admissions at Bangor University, said, 'Thank you to Enroly for working with us on launching Data and Insights. It's incredible as a visual tool.'
The industry average upgrade is just the first of two stages on the Data Insights product roadmap, with direct competitor analysis features, allowing universities to compare performance directly against key competitors, on its way in spring 2023.
